Also.......
If you have no interest in this particular subject then please keep checking. I have and will be posting several KAMIL KUBIK originals which are quite rare and also some of his greatest signed prints. I have a vast amount of gorgeous WALL STREET / STOCK MARKET themed prints and because of Kamil's love of New York City, I have numerous other subjects you might enjoy owning. Examples: CENTRAL PARK, THE RIVER CAFE/BROOKLYN BRIDGE, GREEK PARADE, WORLD CUP SOCCER, NY YANKEES VICTORY PARADE, LITTLE ITALY, THE PLAZA HOTEL, RITZ CARLTON HOTEL, various WASHINGTON DC scenes he painted for the First Lady and President Bush. The US SUPREME COURT, THE CAPITOL BUILDING, THE WASHINGTON MONUMENT, CHERRY BLOSSOMS, ETC. As he and Joanna traveled, Kamil painted everywhere. There are some scenes of BOSTON locations, HARVARD SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, and so many more. If there is a specific KUBIK subject you are looking for, please ask. I may have it or may be able to help you find it. Finally, there are the numerous subjects that were part of the series I commissioned Kamil to do for the State of New Jersey. They included THE NJ STATE HOUSE, THE BATTLESHIP NEW JERSEY, THE BARNEGAT LIGHTHOUSE, THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, A FLORAL CENTERPIECE, CAPE MAY AT CHRISTMAS, POPE'S VISIT TO NEWARK'S SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL ETC.
Kamil died in 2011 and although his art continues to be sold, it is getting more and more difficult to find some of his treasures. If there is something you love and cannot find it.....please let me know. I may be able to help. Bless.

BACKGROUND
I met Kamil while working for the State of New Jersey. We had an idea to find a talented artist who might accept a project that would memorialize some of the State's most recognizable....interesting locations. The collection would ultimately hang inside the State Capitol Building where it would remain for years to come. My boss had a friend who owned a collection of paintings by a rather well known Czech Impressionist, Kamil Kubik. A lunch was arranged for us to meet and the rest is history. I adored this artist, his temperament and above all else, his work. My mother was Czech so Kamil and I had an immediate connection that turned into a lifelong friendship. He gladly accepted the project and once it ended (which took almost 10 years since we commissioned only one painting per year) Kamil, his wife Joanna and I continued to maintain a strong friendship. We visited often and occasionally shared holidays.
As our friendship grew stronger, I learned so much about this interesting, wonderful, creative man. Kamil was an extremely accomplished artist but not so great a businessman. Therefore, I began helping him to market his work. It was during those years that he began to give me art to sell....... some of his more popular prints and a few of his originals as well.
I am selling things now to help my son pay for college which, as many of you might appreciate, can be difficult to handle. I love almost everything Kamil created and deciding what to part with has been extremely difficult. Each one reminds me of Kamil. He was truly a wonderful person, spoke 5 languages and deeply loved New York City. He did projects for the NY YANKEES, DONALD TRUMP, WALL STREET ORGANIZATIONS, THE PLAZA HOTEL and he created a world wide series of paintings of hotels belonging to THE RITZ CARLTON HOTEL organization. He was discovered in New York by First Lady Barbara Bush. Everyone loved Kamil's easy, impressionistic style. He could create a complete piece of art in an afternoon but would also continue to work on it FOREVER. He never felt like his work was finished. As always, he would start his day with a swim at the local Y, practice his YOGA and then begin working in his studio. Sadly, on a particular Fall morning, he suffered a serious stroke that left him paralyzed and ultimately in need of 24 hour care. It was a devastating turn for this man who had lived such a strong, active and healthy life. He continued selling most of what he had created before eventually developing pneumonia and in 2011, quietly passing away. I had continued to help him during that horrifying time and was blessed to be the person sitting with him on the evening he died. I still miss him terribly but am surrounded by this beautiful art which keeps him and his spirit ever present. The WORLD CUP SOCCER hangs in my kitchen and is a favorite of both of my sons. My husband is a Veteran and loves THE BATTLESHIP NEW JERSEY which was part of the NJ series I had commissioned Kamil to do so very long ago. We all love THE NY YANKEES, CAPE MAY, THE BARNEGAT LIGHTHOUSE, the NJ STATE HOUSE and more. I happen to own the original painting of Donald Trump's 3 young children which is exceptional and then there are the majestic WASHINGTON DC subjects that Kamil painted because of his close friendship with First Lady BARBARA BUSH and PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH. THE PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION may be one of Kamil's finest works along with the US CAPITOL and just so many more. I know this is long....but I want people to know who Kamil was, what he did and how much I loved being a part of his life. Please ask any questions you may have. I am happy to try to help if possible. I promise you will love anything you buy of Kamil Kubik's work and for sure, he would love that you wanted something he created. I'm sure he is still painting somewhere!!! :)
