Description
Offered is a very well designed beaded vest. This Plateau Native American vest looks to be that of the Nez Perce Nation. The vest front beaded panels are 21" in length and 10 1/2" wide, the total with being 21" wide. The vest would be a fit for a small man. I would put the circa of the vest to that of the early 1900's being that of the material used. The vest has a well established outline around the beadwork that is done with very small red heart beads. The "GREAT" part of the design I find are the horseshoes. That is not to say that the rest of the design isn't brilliant. The tie backs on the back of the vest have been pinned. I find no repairs nor loss of beads. Fresh out of an estate. Never for sale on the open market.
