DESCRIPTION:
Knowles Taylor & Knowles Spring Lake Hand Made Sour Mash Bourbon quart jug. Made for Klein Bros. & Hyman, 17 Sycamore St. Cin'ti. O. White semi-vitreous porcelain with green lettering. Klein Bros operated at the 17 Sycamore address from 1887-1895, so this would date from that period.
Stands approximately 7.5” tall. Serpent handle. Has the "K.T.&K. CHINA" ink stamp on the bottom.
There is a chip on the top lip and a small, tight hairline crack as well.
