    Description

This auction is for a Dutch longneck cylinder, circa 1750.  This bottle was a shipwreck rocovery from the Carribbean.  The bottle has an all original beautiful satin finish from rolling around in the sand on the bottle of the sea.  The open pontil is wonderful and the bottle has no chips or cracks.  Additionally, there is a nice raised glass ripple, from the original formation of the bottle by the glassblower.  It is always nice to find bottles which have a nice bit of character and are still quintessential for the type.  This is an excellent example of a Dutch longneck cylinder.  The bottle is approximately 10.5" in height and 3.25" in diameter.
