    Description

    A Rare & Important Mid to Late 18th Century American Mahogany Wood Flax/Silk Spinning Wheel. I will guarantee this is one of the finest Museum Quality wheels you will ever find. A certain American Folk art piece for sure. The wood is all turned Accorn design on the inner wheels and all over. The level of quality and craftsmanship is like none other. I paid over 00 for this years ago. Sat in the house and I bought it at a small country auction. Someone told me it's very rare and important and that I got a great deal on it. This was from a Spinning Wheel user. The piece stands 44 inches tall and is absolutely superbly hand carved. All the piece are here. The cage had little twines to hold the fabric. Those arent' here but all the other pieces are. No damage to the main piece at all and it spins just fine. Some of the pieces have broken off but fit back together fine. You can see all the piece I have to it below and all are here. The thing worked when I brought it home. Appraised by a local Folk Art Collector at 00 and being offered very fair..
