    Description

Nice lite tobacco amber cloche. This is a nice example with a hollow knob, as opposed to the more commonly found solid knob examples. The top of the knob has a pontil mark where the blowpipe was broken off.
A cloche was used for covering fledgling plants, and sometimes to cover food.
The condition is great. There are no "issues" aside from the lightest scratches and overall lite dullness or stain. The cloche has an outward rolled lip/rim. The age is 1850-1880.
    6 1/2" Tall x 7 1/2" Wide
Guaranteed to be as described and extremely well packed.
